Our bananas

Where are they from?

Our bananas are grown on 5 sites covering 380 hectares in total.
The farms are all irrigated with water from the volta river, south of the lake Volta.  Production and harvest takes place year round.

    Loose, in clusterbags in 18.14kg cardboard boxes.
    We also pack 5 and 7 finger clusterbags in 13kg boxes.

    18,14kg 17kg en 13kg. Other weights are possible.
  • Pallet:
    – 48 or 54 cartons of 18,14kg
    – 60 or 66 cartons of 13kg
    – other packaging : banderol, bags, private label etc.
  • Arrivals:

  • Loading:
    Different ports.  Portsmouth and Antwerp are mainports, but we work with many other ports. Also transit to any country is possible.
  • Shipment:
    Weekly departures from the Tema harbour in Ghana. Shipment is in 40
    feet High-cube reefer containers which are Controlled Atmosphere (CA)
    capable. Each reefer container loads 20 pallets.
    Destination ports are Portsmouth and Antwerp , but transit to any country
    within Europe is possible.
